About Carol's Home Bakery

Carols Home Bakery began production in May 2009. My husband and I decided to start our own Home Bakery in Lough Gowna, County Cavan. I always had a keen interest in baking and realised there was a gap in the food market for homemade bakery products, so, in May of 2009, we started production in our own bakery beside our home. After weeks of testing and tasting many recipes we decided to settle on an apple tart recipe that I got from my mother who is also a keen baker herself. The bakery started off supplying a few small shops in the area with Apple and Rhubarb tarts and Rockbuns.

We are now expanding our range of products to include new Apple and Cinnamon Crumble Tarts and Mini Pies and Rhubarb Crumble and our seasonal Apple and Blackberry Tarts and Crumbles.
